The fishing tournament is a memorial to the Jensen Beach community’s most celebrated resident, Frances Langford, who was a successful singer and entertainer during the golden age of radio and Hollywood film star. During her retirement in Jensen Beach, Ms. Langford was well-known for her generosity, her love of fishing, and her dedication to preserving the environment and coastal ecosystem.
